Complete guide to using the Polymarket copy trading bot platform for automated trading.
Getting Started
Welcome to the PolyTrade Pro platform. Our Polymarket copy trading bot allows you to automatically replicate the trades of successful prediction market traders.
Prerequisites
- MetaMask wallet installed and configured
- USDC balance on supported networks (Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism)
- Active subscription plan
- Basic understanding of prediction markets
Configuration
1. Wallet Setup
Connect your MetaMask wallet and select your preferred trading network. Your private key is encrypted and transmitted securely via API - we never store sensitive wallet information on our servers.
2. Choose Trading Strategy
Select between two primary strategies:
- Top Traders: Automatically follow the most successful traders ranked by our platform
- Custom Wallets: Manually specify wallet addresses of traders you trust and want to copy
3. Category Filters
Narrow down which markets to participate in by selecting categories such as Politics, Sports, Crypto, or Entertainment. This helps align automated trades with your interests and expertise.
4. Trade Settings
- Position Size: Set minimum and maximum trade amounts (in USDC)
- Risk Percentage: Define what percentage of your balance to allocate per trade
- Auto-Sell: Enable automatic profit-taking at specified thresholds
How It Works
The Polymarket Copy Trade bot monitors blockchain activity in real-time:
- When a followed trader opens a position, our system detects it within 80ms on average
- The bot validates the trade against your configured filters (category, position size limits)
- If criteria are met, the bot automatically replicates the trade with your specified position size
- Your position is monitored continuously for auto-sell triggers or market resolution
Pro Tip: Start with smaller position sizes while you learn how different traders perform, then scale up your most successful configurations.
API Integration
For advanced users, we provide API access to programmatically manage your bot configuration. See our API Reference for detailed endpoint documentation.
